New brokerage sweet on first-timersBy: Jen Benepe Two independent New York rental brokerages have merged to form a firm that will focus on clients hunting for their first apartment. The merger brings together partners Anthony DeGrotta and Larry Friedman of A.C. Lawrence with Ty Byrd of Aventana Real Estate under the A.C. Lawrence and Company name, said the owners. All three of the new partners are 31 years old, making it one of the youngest-managed firms in the city, they said. The firm will target to 21-to-40-year old first timr apartment seekers. A.C.
